Principal: Mrs. Amy Moore

It is a privilege to serve as the Principal of Boulder Creek Elementary.  I am grateful to be given the opportunity to support the students, staff and families at Boulder Creek where we strive to cultivate future ready learners.  For the past nine years, I have served as Principal of Cowles Elementary in Des Moines, Iowa, and Navajo Elementary in Scottsdale.  Prior to that in Iowa, I taught for nine years in grades three through five.  Since moving to Arizona, I have been embedded within the Paradise Valley School District through my children’s schooling, therefore know the district’s commitment to education and opportunities it provides.  My children cover all spectrums of schools in Paradise Valley; Bo (8) Wildfire, Lilah (13) Explorer, and Ellie (16) Pinnacle.

My priorities and commitment to the Boulder Creek community are to,

  1. Maintain a laser like focus on teaching and learning to continually increase student achievement

  2. Strengthen efforts to support the overall health and well-being of students and staff

  3. Create leadership development for students and staff

  4. Value passion and purpose to make a difference

I realize that success is achieved through hard work and proper execution of strategic goals.  I appreciate the reward of a job done well where all stakeholders achieve the outcomes of our education and development goals.  I look forward to working with each of you as partners in your child’s education.  I am honored to serve the Boulder Creek community and am committed to excellence!

Assistant Principal: Ms. Missy Martin

My name is Missy Martin and I am so happy to be a new addition to the Boulder Creek Elementary School Community. I have been teaching in the Paradise Valley Unified School District since 2008, although started my teaching journey in 2000 in the Scottsdale Unified School District. I have taught  all levels of education, but believe my true passion is for the elementary community. I believe engaging and supporting all children early on their path to success starts at the induction level of education, and is enhanced by  the ongoing parent and community partnership. This partnership with students and parents is a collaborative effort that ensures each child can reach their highest potential. Every child is capable of exponential success with the support of our district compass plan and the vision of BCES.

I as well am a mother of three boys, my oldest son Calvin is a graduate of Northern Arizona University, Colman will be a senior at the the University of Arizona in the Eller School of Business, and my youngest  will be a Freshman at Desert Mountain High School. I myself am a graduate of the University of Arizona where I received a BS in Family Studies, followed by post graduate work at the University of Phoenix with a Masters of Education in Administration and Supervision. I am currently in my first year of Doctoral studies in the field of Education and Leadership.

I look forward to a wonderful year here at BCES and am excited to be a part of your child's success.
